The evening of September 23, 2025, ended in gunfire on the 8300 block of Harding Street in Shreveport’s Cedar Grove area. Police were called just before 10 p.m. and found 17-year-old Victor Samuels suffering from gunshot wounds; he was rushed to a local hospital, where he later died. The Caddo Parish coroner’s announcement recorded his time of death at 11:06 p.m. at Ochsner LSU Health.
