Tyana Thomas, a 31-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on September 26, 2020, in Opelousas, Louisiana. Tyana was five months pregnant at the time of her death. The incident occurred during an argument with her boyfriend, Maleke Guillory, 24, and a female acquaintance of Guillory's. The altercation took place at Guillory's residence, where Tyana retrieved a gun from a bedroom.
