Kao Wokoma, a 36-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 2, 2020, in Lafayette, Louisiana. His body was discovered by a cleaning crew in a coulee near Hillside Circle. The Lafayette Parish Coroner's Office confirmed that Wokoma died from a gunshot wound. This incident has since been classified as a homicide, prompting an ongoing investigation by local authorities.
