On what should have been a joyous Christmas Day in 2020, a shooting shattered the peace in Monroe, Louisiana, leaving one man dead and another seriously wounded. Thirty-seven-year-old Johnny Lister, a male resident of Monroe, was tragically killed in the incident. The shooting occurred in the 2100 block of Desiard Street, where Monroe Police were called to a grim scene.
