On a tragic Saturday in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of 33-year-old Frederick Hollis was cut short. On January 23, 2021, police responded to a call at an apartment on Earl Gros Avenue. Inside, they made a grim discovery: the bodies of Frederick Hollis and a 26-year-old woman, Laquincia Jackson. Both had been fatally shot. Hollis was a Black man.
