Detective Troy Lamont Chesley Sr., a 34-year-old officer with the Baltimore City Police Department, was tragically killed on January 9, 2007. Detective Chesley was off duty and walking along the 4500 block of Fairfax Road in Baltimore's West Forest Park neighborhood when he was confronted by an armed individual attempting to rob him.
