The individual accused of the shooting was Khutbi Abdelkader, who was identified as the co-owner of the vape shop. Reports indicate that Francois had been previously barred from entering the establishment.
An altercation ensued, which ultimately led to Abdelkader fatally shooting Francois.
Following the shooting, Abdelkader was arrested and faced legal proceedings in connection with the death of Anthony Francois.
