Cedric Cemoyne Fuller, a 45-year-old African American man from Shreveport, Louisiana, tragically passed away on August 18, 2021. He was fatally shot by his brother, Carlin Tremell Cotton, following a heated argument over money at their mother's home in the Mooretown neighborhood. Witnesses reported hearing two bursts of gunfire before finding Fuller bleeding and face-down in a puddle outside the residence. Despite being rushed to Ochsner LSU Health hospital, Fuller succumbed to his injuries.
