On a cold Sunday night in Shreveport, Louisiana, the life of 18-year-old Gerald Jamar Abbott Jr. was tragically cut short. On January 15, 2023, Shreveport Police were called to the Sleep Inn Hotel on Klug Pines, where they found the young man suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of first responders, Abbott succumbed to his injuries.
