In a heart-wrenching incident in Shreveport, Louisiana, 19-month-old Kayson Wright, a male toddler, lost his life on Friday, February 7, 2020. The tragic event unfolded in a home in the Queensborough neighborhood on Merwin Street, just off Jewella Avenue. Responding to a call about a shooting, officers discovered the young boy with a critical gunshot wound to his chest. He was immediately transported to Ochsner LSU Hospital for medical attention.
