Deveonte Jeter, a 17-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 9, 2020, in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when Jeter was a passenger in a vehicle traveling on David Raines Road. Around 1 a.m., an unknown assailant opened fire on the vehicle, striking Jeter in the head.
