In the summer of 2014, the life of William David Carroll, a 48-year-old man, was abruptly ended in his Shreveport, Louisiana home. On July 28th, events unfolded that led to his untimely death, turning a residence into a crime scene and leaving a community in search of answers. The incident began when two individuals reportedly entered Carroll's home on Holly Street in what authorities would later describe as an apparent robbery attempt.
