Emmanuel Oneal Barnes, a 36-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on September 16, 2022, in Lafayette, Louisiana. Emmanuel was shot multiple times at his residence on Fitzgerald Drive. After being shot, he ran to a nearby store on Martin Luther King Drive, where he collapsed outside the business. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
