In the late hours of a December day in Harvey, Louisiana, the life of Vincent Maurice Taylor, a 32-year-old African American man, was tragically cut short. On December 2, 2022, Taylor was fatally wounded by gunfire in the community he had called home for his entire life. A native of nearby Marrero, he was known to be a fun-loving individual who was deeply protective of his family.
