Robert Wayne Connor, 61, was last seen on July 18, 2003, at the Boxcar Grille restaurant in Claremont, North Carolina. He disappeared under mysterious circumstances and was reported missing six days later, on July 24, by a family member. When his daughter checked his home, she found his pickup truck parked in an unusual spot, his dog Rusty left behind and frantic, and fourteen unanswered messages on his answering machine.
