Raymond Galloway, a 16-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on January 5, 2014, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Bronzeville neighborhood on Chicago's South Side. Raymond was fatally shot in the head while he was sleeping. The circumstances surrounding his death were particularly distressing, as it was revealed that his 13-year-old cousin was responsible for the shooting.
