Daniel Figueroa Jr., a 20-year-old Hispanic male from Elgin, Illinois, was tragically shot to death on April 18, 2015. The incident occurred early in the morning near Prairie Street and Grove Avenue. Officers responding to reports of a disturbance found Daniel Figueroa with an apparent gunshot wound. The Kane County coroner's office conducted an autopsy to determine the exact cause and manner of his death.
