Johnathan King, a 32-year-old African American male from Elgin, Illinois, tragically lost his life on April 10, 2022, in a shooting incident at the Blackhawk Apartments on Congdon Avenue. The incident occurred during a gathering at the apartment complex around 2 a.m. Witnesses reported hearing gunfire that resulted in multiple injuries and the death of Johnathan King.
