Jeffrey J. Weides, a 38-year-old Caucasian male, tragically lost his life on April 14, 2001, in Elgin, Illinois. Weides, who worked as a bartender, was one of the victims in a horrific shooting spree at JB's Pub. The incident occurred when Luther Casteel, a 43-year-old man, was ejected from the bar earlier that evening for causing disturbances, including harassing women and quarreling with employees.
