Shador M. Jenkins, a 28-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on August 21, 2015, in Joliet, Illinois. The incident occurred on Wallace Street near Center Street. Jenkins, armed with a steak knife, rushed at the gunman, Dwayne Johnson, a 22-year-old African American male, during an altercation.
