Dasean B. Clark, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on December 31, 2016, in Joliet, Illinois. On that fateful New Year's Eve, Clark was fatally shot in the stomach around 9 p.m. while he was sitting behind the wheel of a Hyundai Sonata. The incident occurred as he was parked, and he was struck multiple times by gunfire. The severity of his injuries led to his untimely death at the scene.
