Lorenzo Gibbons, a 20-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 15, 2021, in Joliet, Illinois. Gibbons was driving north on South Chicago Street when he was shot in the head around 11 p.m. The incident occurred just outside the Joliet city limits, and the Will County Sheriff's Office took charge of the investigation.
