Jermaine Peete, a 19-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on December 23, 2018, in Joliet, Illinois. The incident occurred in the early morning hours on the east side of Joliet, specifically in the 600 block of Dover Street. Jermaine was fatally shot in the head, a devastating event that left his family and community in mourning.
