In the early morning hours of Wednesday, February 3, 2016, the life of John Vounas, a 45-year-old Caucasian male, was tragically cut short in Las Vegas, Nevada. The incident unfolded at the Olive Apartments, located at 2300 Olive Street, near the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Fremont Street. It was in this downtown area that the silence of the night was broken by the sound of gunfire, prompting concerned individuals to contact the authorities.
