Donald M. Woods, a 24-year-old African American male from Joliet, Illinois, tragically lost his life on May 15, 2018. The incident occurred in the 200 block of Fourth Avenue near Sherman Street on Joliet's southeast side. According to reports, Donald Woods was fatally shot in the late afternoon. The Will County Coroner's office confirmed his death, noting that he succumbed to gunshot wounds.
