Devon Lofton, a 7-year-old African American boy, tragically died on March 20, 2016, in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood. According to reports, Devon accidentally shot himself in the head with a gun that was brought into the house by his 10-year-old brother. The incident occurred around 3:50 p.m. at their home on South Aberdeen Street.
