In the late summer of 1991, a Caucasian male named Kenneth Cheetham was traveling with Iva Larue, his wife. The married couple was on a road trip, vacationing in the scenic area near Lake Inez in Missoula County, Montana. Their journey took a tragic and mysterious turn on or about July 30, 1991, when both were shot and killed. The remote and serene landscape of the Swan Valley became the backdrop for a double homicide that would remain a chilling cold case for decades.
