In the summer of 2019, the life of 20-year-old Tyler Hayden, a White male from Sidney, Montana, was cut short in a fatal encounter. On the evening of July 2, 2019, Hayden was shot and killed in the parking lot of a Loaf-N-Jug convenience store in his hometown. The incident stemmed from a history of confrontations between Hayden and another young man from Sidney, Kyle Lee Severson.
