In the small city of Forrest City, Arkansas, the holiday season of 2014 was marked by a brutal act of violence that left the community shaken. On Christmas Day, December 25, 2014, Gary Thomas, a 42-year-old man, was found dead. His life was cut short in what was described as an execution-style killing.
