In the early morning hours of October 25, 2014, the life of 12-year-old Joshua JaShawn Wilson, a Black male, was tragically cut short in his Forrest City, Arkansas home. An intruder forced his way into the residence on West South Street through a bedroom window, forever altering the lives of the family inside. Joshua was discovered with a fatal gunshot wound to his face.
