Jeremiah Lovelle Banks, a 3-year-old boy from Waukegan, Illinois, tragically passed away on October 13, 2016. Jeremiah, who was born on July 11, 2013, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after finding his father's handgun. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when Jeremiah woke up and discovered the 9mm semi-automatic weapon on his parents' dresser.
