In the early morning hours of Sunday, September 24, 2017, the life of 33-year-old Hispanic male Carlos Montalvo was tragically cut short on the streets of Boston. At approximately 6:40 AM, officers from the C-6 District of the Boston Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of Southampton and Topeka Streets in the city's South End following a report of a person shot. Upon their arrival, they discovered Montalvo suffering from a gunshot wound.
