In the early morning hours of July 2, 2020, a burst of violence shattered the quiet of a Boston neighborhood, claiming the life of 45-year-old Rashawn Washington-Clark, a Black / African American male. The fatal encounter began around 12:19 a.m. in the Dorchester area, specifically near Norfolk Street and Peacevale Road. It was there that Washington-Clark was shot while inside his own vehicle.
