On a cold February day in 1993, the life of 42-year-old White/Caucasian male, Thomas Rose, a Boston Police Officer, was tragically cut short. The events that unfolded on February 19th inside the booking area of the District A-1 station in downtown Boston were swift and violent, leaving a family and a community in mourning. Officer Rose, a 13-year veteran of the force and a U.S. Air Force veteran, was a husband, a father to three children, and a grandfather.
