On a late spring evening in 2011, the life of a young African-American man, Marck Edmond, was tragically cut short on a Boston street. At the age of 22, the male victim was fatally shot on May 29, 2011. The incident occurred at the intersection of Itasca and Messinger Streets in the Mattapan neighborhood.
