Bassam I. Saah, a 34-year-old male of Middle Eastern descent, was tragically killed on December 24, 1989, in Houston, Texas. He worked as a store clerk at the Budget Store food mart, which he and his brother owned. On that fateful Christmas Eve, Saah was last seen alive at approximately 7:15 PM by a witness leaving the store.
