The incident occurred when Zamora and a friend, who is a dog breeder, were attempting to recover a stolen French bulldog. The situation escalated during the meetup with the alleged suspects, resulting in Zamora being shot to death.
His mother, Earline De Leon, has been vocal about seeking justice for her son, expressing concerns that the suspects might evade charges due to the presence of firearms on both sides.
Zamora's death has left his family and friends heartbroken. He was known for his big heart and dedication to his loved ones. Born on December 9, 1984, in Baytown, Texas, Zamora was associated with Flawless Kennels and worked as a graphic designer. He enjoyed creating videos, photography, and had a deep love for dogs. He is survived by his daughter Jenise Zamora, sons Ayden James and Kasen Zamora, parents Earline and Luis Deleon, and Juan Roberto Zamora, as well as several siblings and numerous relatives and friends.
The investigation into Zamora's death is ongoing. The Harris County Sheriff's Office released a photo of the suspect's car, a matte black Chrysler 300, in hopes of identifying and apprehending those responsible. Despite the challenges, Zamora's family remains determined to see justice served.
