Deveon Hunt, an 18-year-old African American male from Belleville, IL, tragically lost his life on October 29, 2017. The incident occurred around 10:12 PM when police responded to a 911 call reporting multiple shots fired in the area of the 7600 block of South 76th Street in Belleville. Upon arrival, officers found Deveon Hunt on the ground with a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
