Tyress R. Wilson, a 31-year-old African American male, was found deceased on August 14, 2020, in the front yard of a residence in Belleville, Illinois. The St. Clair County Sheriff's Department responded to a call at approximately 6:46 AM, reporting a subject down. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Wilson's body and determined that his death was a homicide. The Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis was activated to assist in the investigation due to the severity of the case.
