Dirico Washington, a 16-year-old African American male from Belleville, Illinois, tragically lost his life on February 3, 2025. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. outside his home on North 81st Street, where he was shot multiple times. Emergency responders arrived swiftly and transported him to a nearby hospital, but despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead.
