Terry Whittaker, a 35-year-old man, was killed on September 4, 2015, in Baltimore, Maryland. Whittaker was found shot in the 3900 block of Garrison Boulevard, which is located in Northwest Baltimore. His death was one of many violent incidents that year, as Baltimore grappled with a significant increase in gun-related homicides. The city recorded a total of 344 homicides in 2015, making it one of the deadliest years in recent history.
