Lonnie Rucker, a 49-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on January 7, 2018, in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. in the 400 block of North Laramie Avenue. According to reports, Lonnie Rucker was involved in an argument with another male when the altercation escalated, and the other individual fired shots, striking Rucker in the leg.
