On October 28, 2018, at approximately 10:55 a.m., 23-year-old Kenjuan D. Scott was traveling with a 24-year-old woman in a vehicle in the 5500 block of South LaSalle Street in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood. As they proceeded, an individual inside a black, four-door Audi opened fire on their vehicle. Scott sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
