Anthony Harvey, a 42-year-old Black male, was shot on the evening of May 26, 2025, in Chicago’s North Lawndale neighborhood. Police responded around 8:40 p.m. to the 1600 block of South Springfield Avenue, where Harvey was found with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition and pronounced dead several hours later at 11:35 p.m. Authorities identified him as a Chicago resident.
