Christopher Walton, a 29-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on June 1, 2019, in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. The incident occurred around 4:11 a.m. when officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 7700 block of South Morgan Street.
