Alfred Barnett, a 40-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 27, 2014, in Chicago, Illinois. Barnett was shot in the Englewood neighborhood, specifically in the 7200 block of South Rockwell Avenue. He succumbed to his injuries at 9:42 p.m. on the same day. The incident occurred on June 23, 2014, when Barnett was shot near the intersection of 69th Street and Paulina Avenue.
