Jesus Escobar, aged 16, was tragically killed on May 6, 2017, in Chicago, Illinois. He was shot while standing outside on the 4800 block of South La Crosse Avenue on the city’s Southwest Side. A 19-year-old man who was with him was also wounded during the incident. According to reports, the assailants fired from an SUV, targeting Escobar and the other victim before fleeing the scene.
