Dennis Green, a 36-year-old man from Chicago, Illinois, was tragically killed by gun violence on June 9, 2024. Green was an active and dedicated member of the Englewood First Responders, a group of violence interrupters working to reduce gun violence in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago.

The incident occurred in the alley behind the 700 block of West 36th Place in Englewood. Green was shot multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene. His death was part of a particularly violent ...
