February Burage, a 28-year-old African American man, was tragically shot and killed on November 13, 2020, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 8:05 p.m. in the 5600 block of West Madison Street in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago. Burage was standing on the sidewalk when an unknown assailant fired shots, striking him in the head. He was immediately transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
