Tyevell Marquise Qualls, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 2, 2020, in Chicago, IL. The incident occurred in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. According to reports, Qualls was struck by gunfire in the leg, wrist, and neck around 6:15 p.m. in the first block of East 83rd Street.
